Clinmetric uses browser local storage to remember your advertising choice. Adsterra ad scripts are loaded only after you accept advertising; they are not loaded if you reject. The assessment tools continue to work without advertising storage.
Advertising choice storage
The site stores your accepted or rejected choice and the time it was made under the local-storage key clinmetric-advertising-consent-v1. This preference expires after 180 days, after which the site asks again. It is not used by Clinmetric to identify you or track you across other websites. The advertising panel links to this policy and is available again from “Advertising choices” in the footer.
Adsterra and third-party technologies
If you accept, Adsterra’s scripts and advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization, and may receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device details, page URL and ad interactions. Adsterra describes its practices in its Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy. The specific identifiers and duration can vary with campaigns and provider changes. Rejecting advertising prevents Clinmetric from loading these scripts. If you withdraw consent after a script has run, Clinmetric stops loading the scripts and removes the ad placement, but browser controls may be needed to clear data already stored by a third party.
Your controls
You can accept or reject optional advertising, or revisit your choice, using the advertising choices panel and footer control. You can also clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. See the Privacy Policy for details about data handled by the ad provider and how to contact us.
